With summer re-runs almost a thing of the past and crappy reality/dignity-removing game shows taking their place, I thought it was time to get you aquainted with some of the best TV ever. As often as I can, I'll be posting full episodes of the best TV (IMHO) past and present.  I've been addicted to TV ever since my mother sat me in front of Scooby Doo and Rat Patrol when my undiagnosed ADD/OCD flared up. Which, by my knowledge of TV, you will quickly realize, was ALOT!

I'm starting out with The Office.

This show was done originally in England, created by a comic genius, Ricky Gervais . If you get a chance, rent the original at Hollywood Video. The American version is just as funny, but in a very different way. It preys upon our fear of intimacy and the unbearable PC-ness that has washed over the workplace. It's, at the same time, both incredibly hilarious and horribly uncomfortable. Maybe I felt uncomfortable because, as I watched it, I saw little things I do in Gervais' character, David Brent (Michael is his counter-part in the Americanized version). Watching both these shows has made me put every bit of workplace behaviour under a microscope. you probably feel the same way. If you don't then you're probably like one of the characters in the show! We all have a Michael in our office, and hopefully, we don't all have a Dwight. (We do!) At any rate, enjoy this episode:
